Slow Descent was properly formed in 2013 during a weekend binge of alcohol, parmies and progressive metal. A strange breeding ground for what was to come, but not so strange if you listen closely.

On the surface the music is punk as influenced by SoCal veterans, modern pop punk and pop. If you have a look underneath though, you can't miss the signature of the longtime metalheads that the band are.

The 'Loitering With Intent' EP is a statement of intent. Musclebound and emotional in equal measures, each track is a carefully crafted hybrid of soaring, harmonised vocals, melodic lead playing, tight punk rhythms and just the right amount of heaviness as required.

The Loitering With Intent EP was:
Produced by Dave Venter at FatLip Studios with Taylor Pine, Matt Rowlands, and Nathan Whittle.
Engineered and edited by Dave Venter at FatLip Studios, Devonport, Tasmania, Australia.
Mixed by Sam Pura at The Panda Studios, Walnut Creek, California, USA.
Mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Loitering With Intent is coming very soon, and we're excited to get out and make some noise on as many stages as we can!
