CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER | LAURA HARPER

Laura is the Chief Executive Officer of Music Tasmania.

She’s a Director of the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN) and serves as a Board Member for the National Live Music Awards and the Tasmanian Creative Industries (TCI). 

Laura is a Panel Member for the Regional Arts Fund and a Peer Assessor for the Australia Council for the Arts.

She has over a decade experience working in the Government sector, at a local regional level, and for Arts Tasmania, the State Government's arts funding, policy and advice body. 

Laura holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours), majoring in art and cultural theory.

She's a passionate champion of the arts who strives to develop the capacity of cultural organisations and creative communities.

Laura is employed part-time for 3.5 days per week at Music Tasmania.
