Bansheeland make songs about toast and paranoia. The five piece hail from Launceston and the outer reaches of the North East. Collectively they have a lot of hair and they are ok with that.
Musically, their sound is as dexterous as a Tasmanian weather forecast. Beautiful and sun-soaked one minute, the next there’s an electrical storm coming in and the surf is rough.
With their feet firmly planted in the legacy of 90s indie rock music they believe that music is about having a good time. A damn good loud time. You’ll dance, you’ll thrash, you’ll sway, you might cry a little, you’ll definitely want to quit your job and you’ll probably want to eat some toasted bread.
