Forth Valley Blues Festival
The 2015 Forth Valley Blues Festival is celebrating its 18th birthday in style on March 21st with a exciting new look and direction.
The festival’s headline acts will be Russell Morris who is riding a wave of popularity and with chart topping albums, “Sharkmouth” and “Van Dieman’s Land” and legendary American singer-songwriter Tony Joe White. There will be a full 12 hour program of music featuring local and national artists.
Music has always been the major focus of the festival but next year’s event will expand to incorporate local food and wine. Being located in the heart of the food bowl of the North West Coast it is a great opportunity for local businesses and producers to showcase their wares. The Forth Valley Blues Festival will be a major event of the 2015, ‘Devonport Food and Wine Festival.’ The Festival is set in the beautiful location of the Forth Valley. People travel from across the state to attend the festival which has a sell-out capacity of 3000 people. We will also be aiming to attract interstate visitors as well.
