Homebrewed line-up at Falls Festival
From December 29-31, Homebrewed is back presenting the best up-and-coming Tasmanian acts. It marks the fifth year that local artists will be given the opportunity to perform in front of a huge crowd of music lovers at Falls in Marion Bay as part of the Homebrewed Stage.
“We’re really excited about the Homebrewed line-up this year,” said Music Tasmania’s CEO Laura Harper “it’s become the place to discover new local talent at the festival.”
“Some of Tassie’s best live acts have started-out by playing Homebrewed, including A Swayze the Ghosts, Kat Edwards, Sumner and many others. It has a legacy of supporting emerging acts.”
Falls Festival Event Manager, Abby Allen, said: “This is an incredible partnership between Music Tasmania and Falls, that’s unique to Tassie. We really want our local music community to be a part of the festival and it brings us great pride to present the amazing talent that’s brewing here.”
“This year, we're proud to announce Slaughterhäus Surf Cult as the selected headline slot on 31 December in honour and memory of Liam Guthrie”.
We’re also excited to welcome APRA AMCOS as a presenting partner in Homebrewed. APRA AMCOS is committed to supporting songwriters and this is an opportunity to work together to celebrate Tasmanian music.
