LOVE LIVE MUSIC 60 second film competition
The Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN) is thrilled to announce the return of the LOVE LIVE MUSIC 60 second film competition.
AMIN has joined forces with the Live Music Office and the internationally accredited St Kilda Film Festival to present, through the medium of short film, a national awareness campaign about the importance of contemporary live music to the lives of everyday Australians. Musicians, filmmakers and lovers of Australian film and music are encouraged to build this awareness by submitting a 60 second film into the competition.
The LOVE LIVE MUSIC 60 second film competition calls for local hometown musicians to collaborate with filmmakers from across Australia to make a 60 second film in any genre and any style that addresses at least one of the following themes:
‘Imagine life without live Australian music’;
‘What I love about live Australian music’; or
‘What live Australian music means to me’.
From the field of ten finalists, the overall winner will be announced on the night of SoundKILDA, Australia’s premiere music video competition, with cash and in-kind prizes awarded on the night.
Last year Tassie was represented admirably in the Top 10 shortlist with You Can't Download This, a film by Jacob Collings featuring music by Sumner.
Submissions close Friday 31 March 2017.
